<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die-casting die that has a cooling control function in which the temperature of the die-casting die is made to increase rapidly at the start of operating a die casting in such a manner that: a portion to cool is cooled and a portion to heat rapidly is not cooled even if the temperature thereof is increasing. <P>SOLUTION: A cooling path inside of the die-casting die 2 is discriminated between a low-temperature cooling path 8 and a high-temperature cooling path 12. A temperature-dependent valve 10 is arranged on a branching point 16 of the low-temperature and high-temperature cooling paths 8 and 12. When the temperature of a die or cooling medium as measured by the temperature-dependent valve 10 is low, the cooling medium is made to flow only in the low-temperature cooling path 8, whereas when the temperature thereof is high, the cooling medium is made to flow in both of the low-temperature and high-temperature cooling paths 8 and 12. When the temperature is low, a die in the vicinity of a portion on which a normal-temperature cooling path 8 is arranged is cooled, and the die not in the vicinity of the portion is rapidly heated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
