Disclosed is a disposable diaper which comprises: a front cover and a rear cover which cover a user's waist; and a crotch cover which has an absorbent body and covers a user's crotch. A stretchable part (80) made of stretchable nonwoven fabric is formed on a portion of at least the rear cover, and the stretchable part (80) is formed so as to contract in the waist direction. An air-passage forming seat (82) made of water-repellent nonwoven fabric is provided on a portion of a skin-contacting surface of the rear cover, and the air-passage forming seat (82) is overlaid on the stretchable part (80). The air-passage forming seat (82) and the stretchable part (80) are joined to each other by a joining part (84) which is intermittently formed in the waist direction. |
