METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING METALLIC PARTICLE UTILIZING SOLVOTHERMAL REACTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture metallic particles efficiently by a solvothermal reaction from a mixed solution including a plurality of metallic ions.

SOLUTION: A method uses a mixed solution including ions of metal (a) and ions of metal (b) that is different from the metal (a). In the method, metallic particles (A) of the metal (a) are produced by reducing ions of the metal (a) by a following process (1) or a process (2). The process (1) includes steps of: separating ions of the metal (a) from the mixed solution; converting the metal (a) to a metal hydroxide; subjecting the metal hydroxide to solvothermal reaction under the presence of an organic solvent (C1) that can reduce ions of the metal (a); and producing the metallic particles (A). The process (2) includes steps of: subjecting the mixed solution to a solvothermal reaction under the presence of an organic solvent (C2) that can reduce ions of the metal (a) and does not reduce ions of the metal (b); and producing the metallic particles (A).
