<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil smoke recovery apparatus that recovers oil smoke in a thrust bearing oil tank, and then, liquefies the oil smoke and returns it into the thrust bearing oil tank without using power. <P>SOLUTION: Air in a recovery tank 11 is sucked through air-intake piping 22 by using a negative draft pressure during the operation of a water turbine generator, thereby introducing oil smoke of thrust bearing lubricating oil generated in a thrust bearing oil sump 1 into the recovery tank via oil smoke recovery piping 21. The oil smoke is cooled by thrust cooling water flowing in cooling water piping 23 in the recovery tank, thereby liquefying thrust bearing oil in the oil smoke and recovering it in a receiving tray 12, and further, returning it to the thrust bearing oil sump via an oil recovery chamber 13, an oil return chamber 14, and oil return piping 24 without using power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
