<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat sliding device having an auxiliary lock mechanism that temporarily locks a first vehicle seat slid to a slide-lock region of a second vehicle seat when the fist vehicle seat reaches a boundary of the lock regions, with improved usability. <P>SOLUTION: The auxiliary lock mechanism 5 is integrally assembled to an upper rail 20 of a front passenger seat 1 irrespective of whether the auxiliary lock mechanism 5 regulates sliding of the upper rail 20 of the front passenger seat 1. When regulating the sliding of the upper rail 20 of the front passenger seat 1, the auxiliary lock mechanism 5 regulates restoration of the upper rail 20 of the front passenger seat 1 to the state before the sliding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
