<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine including a variable display device for executing a variable display game that variably displays identification information when a game ball enters a start winning region, and generates a special game state advantageous to a player when the stop result of the variable display game shows a predetermined special result, the game machine being configured to give a notice to a player even when there is no start memory. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine has a prior determination means (game controller 100) for determining information about execution of the variable display game to be executed on the basis of predetermined start memory that has not yet occurred.
