Disclosed is a rack system for battery modules for energy storage. According to the present invention, the rack system comprises: a rack assembly configured to allow limiting the full accommodation area, in which a plurality of battery modules are accommodated in stacks; and a plurality of rail frames connected in stacks to the rack assembly so that the edges of the bottom surfaces of the battery modules are supported, wherein the bottom surface of each of the battery module is provided with rail fastening parts having elastic connecting protrusions disposed longitudinally with respect to the rail frames and at places where the connecting protrusions correspondingly come into contact with the rail frame, and when the battery modules are being installed, the battery module is perpendicularly pressure-fitted into the rail frames, consequently connecting the rail fastening parts to the rail frames.
