<p>[Problem] To provide a glass bottle with high coaxial precision over the entire longitudinal direction and a method for manufacturing the same. [Solution] A glass tube (200) is mounted on a plurality of disks (112), and the periphery of an open end (210) thereof is imaged by an imaging device (120). The generated image data is processed by a control device (140) and a center location of the open end (210) is calculated. The control device (140) controls a centering part (131) of a molding device (130), and causes a core (133) to be inserted into the open end (210) at a height where the center of the open end (210) and a central axis line of the core (133) match each other. The periphery of the open end (210) is heated and softened by a burner (134). The periphery of the open end (210) is molded along the core (133) in a state in which the disks (112) on which the glass tube (200) is mounted are rotating, and a mouth part (220) is formed.</p> |
