<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot rolling method by which thrust force caused in a rolling mill can be canceled appropriately when subjecting steel to hot rolling processing. <P>SOLUTION: In the hot rolling method, when subjecting the steel to hot rolling processing, the thrust force of mill rolls (back-up roll or work roll) by a finishing mill and/or a rough mill in a width direction is measured, and the back-up roll and the work roll cross each other, thus canceling the thrust force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
