<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device that suppresses a sudden current change when turning on/off each switch element. <P>SOLUTION: The timing of turning on/off each switch element is controlled such that the direction of a current change by a turn-on/off of one switch element is opposite to the direction of a current change by a turn-on/off of the other switch element. A delay time required from the supply of a driving command to the switch element to an actual turn-on/off is determined, and on the basis of the delay time, the delay time is controlled such that the turn-on/off of each switch element is concurrent.
