<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable attenuator that suppresses wrong operations of adjusting pins. <P>SOLUTION: A cover member 4 covering a plurality of adjusting pins 3a-3e slidable relative to an attenuator body 2 is provided with a plurality of slots 42a-42e into which engaging parts 16 of adjusting tools 5a-5e can be inserted, and a plurality of keyholes 43a-43e different in shape from each other, in positions corresponding to the adjusting pins 3a-3e. Each of the adjusting tools 5a-5e has, at a tip end, a key part 17 having a sectional shape insertable into only one of the plurality of keyholes 43a-43e which is different from those of the other adjusting tools 5a-5e. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
