<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform useful parking support from a stage such as a parking start position by early identifying a proper parking space according to the parking form of parked vehicles aligned in an advancing direction of an own vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A space dimension calculation unit 14 calculates an inter-vehicular total value by adding each inter-vehicular distance among three vehicles parked in line. A parking form determination unit 18 determines whether the parking form of the parked vehicles is parallel parking or double parking by comparing the inter-vehicular total value with a determination value set for determining the parking form of parked vehicles.
