<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and lightweight configuration having a large angle adjustment range, in a carriage inclination-adjusting mechanism configured rotatably about a support shaft in a printing position. <P>SOLUTION: This inclination adjusting mechanism 50 of an ink jet head 11 of an ink jet printer 1 includes: a carriage frame 15 having a horizontally long opening 51 formed thereon; a wedge-shaped spacer 52 fitted to the opening 51; an abutment roller 53 installed in a portion of a carriage 10 opposing to the wedge-shaped spacer 52; and an energizing member 55 disposed between the carriage 10 and a side frame 56. The carriage 10 is energized in the counterclockwise direction by the energizing force of the energizing member 55 in the printing position A, and stops in a position where the abutment roller 53 abuts on a slant face 52a of the wedge-shaped spacer 52. When the wedge-shaped spacer 52 is moved in right and left directions, the abutment roller 53 moves forwardly and backwardly along the slant face 52a, so as to adjust the inclination of the carriage 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
