PURPOSE: A device for detecting a sheared crop and a control method thereof are provided to emergently stop a facility when the crop is not normally sheared in a shearing process. CONSTITUTION: A device for detecting a sheared crop comprises a current sensing unit, a weight sensing unit(20), and a control unit. The current sensing unit senses the driving current of a crop shear(80). The weight sensing unit senses the weight of a crop basket which loads corps sheared by a crop shear. The control unit determines an operation signal of the crop shear inputted from an upper control device, the changes in the driving current, and the changes in the weight sensed by the weight sensing unit. The control unit outputs a result to the upper control device. |
