PURPOSE: An electronic book service method is provided to automate electronic book file generation, thereby improving quality of electronic book content provided to a consumer. CONSTITUTION: An electronic book conversion service for a printout is requested through a user terminal(S122). The printout is scanned and a scan image is generated(S131). Text information and margin information are extracted by analyzing the scan image(S132~S134) The margin information is compared with advertisement margin pattern information. A matched advertisement margin pattern is extracted. The text information is compared with advertisement copy information. A matched advertisement is extracted.
