METHOD FOR PRODUCING A ZIRCONIA CERAMIC CASE HAVING A LOGO FOR A PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE

PURPOSE: A zirconia ceramic case manufacturing method for a portable electronic device having a logo with an excellent sense of beauty is provided to prevent the twisting phenomenon of a logo shape by equalizing the sintering shrinkages of a zirconia case and a logo during a sintering process. CONSTITUTION: A zirconia ceramic case manufacturing method for a portable electronic device is composed of the following steps of: the step of molding a zirconia case molded article; the step of molding a logo with a zirconia material having the same compounds as the zirconia case molded article except color additions; the step of forming an intaglio on a press mild; the step of pressing the zirconia case molded article placed on the logo after the logo is placed on the intaglio; the step of sintering the zirconia case molded article; and the step of polishing the surface of the sintered zirconia case. The logo is molded with a thickness more than the depth of the intaglio of the press mold. The step of surface-polishing is implemented for the surfaces of the log and the zirconia case mold to have the same level of the surfaces.
