<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator for fuel cell advantageous in modification reaction and stabilization of power generation by achieving stable evaporation in an evaporation chamber. <P>SOLUTION: The evaporator 200 includes a box 300 with an evaporation chamber 301 and a filler 503 with an evaporation accelerator 500 formed with a plurality of spherical ceramics as base material. The box 300 includes a bottom wall 331, a side wall 332, and a corner angle wall 333 crossing the bottom wall 331 and the side wall 332. A curvature radius of an inner wall surface 333i facing the evaporation chamber 301 of the corner angle wall 333 and that of the evaporation accelerator 500 are defined as R1 and R2, respectively.
