<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for creating a model animal useful for evaluating a prevention or improvement effect and a salty taste enhancer or the like, to deterioration in responsiveness of a salty taste to a medicament, quasi-drug, and food and drink in which the responsiveness of a salty taste is deteriorated and/or an epithelial sodium channel is inhibited. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the method for creating a model animal with deteriorated responsiveness of a salty taste and the model animal in which the epithelial sodium channel of a taste bud is inhibited, including a step of developing hypertension to a non-human animal according to a human hypertension development mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
