<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which can safely shut down regardless of a state of a battery at startup, and a program for the information processor. <P>SOLUTION: An information processor 10 is driven by a battery 109, and comprises a BIOS ROM 105 and a CPU 101. The BIOS ROM 105 stores a BIOS as a basic program for executing startup processing of the information processor 10. The CPU 101 determines whether residual quantity of the battery 109 is equal to or less than a predetermined value when the BIOS is started. When it is determined that the residual quantity of the battery 109 exceeds the predetermined value, the CPU 101 continues the startup processing, and when it is determined that the residual quantity of the battery 109 is equal to or less than the predetermined value, the CPU 101 discontinues the startup processing and shuts down the information processor 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
