<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: a conventional functional roll has moisture and liquid absorption function to be utilized in processing a high-quality product, such as functional precision parts for manufacturing vehicles, steel, films, electronic materials and precision apparatus, which are exported abroad; while there is difficulty in transporting a long and large functional roll, which increases costs, especially for exports. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a module-functional roll formed of an unwoven porous fabric sheet having filmy crosslinking elastic bodies on a superimposed face. A predetermined number of sheets are laminated on a mounting shaft of a press. A pair of clamping jigs and a press press/temporarily clamp them to manufacture one block of a functional-roll material. After a plurality of the blocks are manufactured, a hot-water tank is used for boiling, press-bonding and welding to form a plurality of module-functional roll materials.
