The device (1) has an upper part (1.1) for receiving an electrical device (2) and comprising an opening (3) continuously extending from a front side to a rear side at a bottom side of the upper part. A base part (1.2) is arranged at the bottom side of the upper part. The upper part is secured or formed at an instrument panel. Connection lines are moved at back of the instrument panel such that a floor panel of a body of the vehicle, and/or at bottom of the instrument panel. The floor panel has a partition wall between a vehicle inner space and a front engine compartment.
