The invention relates to a holding means (1) for holding an electronic device to a vehicle component, in particular a windscreen of a motor vehicle, the holding means (1) comprising a suction cup (7) for attaching the holding means (1) to the vehicle component as well as a locking element (8) movable relative to the suction cup (7) between an unlocking position and a locking position in which the locking element (8) at least partly is brought into contact with a reverse side (32) of the suction cup (7) facing away from the vehicle component such that a vacuum is created between the suction cup (7) and the vehicle component. The holding means (1 ) comprises an actuator (11) pivotally arranged on the locking element (8) and pivotally movable by a user between a first position and a second position, wherein the actuator (11) upon moving into the second position causes a movement of the locking element (8) into its locking position.
