<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain, as an example, an assembled battery more hardly causing disadvantage. <P>SOLUTION: The assembled battery of an embodiment includes: a case; a battery; a press member; a bus bar; and a cover. The case has an opening and a housing part. A plurality of batteries having respective terminals are housed in the housing part and overlapped such that respective terminals are located at end parts all positioned on the same side. The press member is located at one side in the housing part in an overlapping direction of the batteries and elastically presses the batteries toward the other side of the overlapping direction.
