<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platform gate device capable of preventing malfunction of control device due to the reception of effect from a drive source. <P>SOLUTION: Because a drive motor 25 is surrounded by a first casing 12, noise generated by a drive motor 12 is attenuated by the first casing 12, and the leakage of noise to the outside of the first casing 12 is prevented. Further, because control panels 26a, 26b are surrounded by a second casing 14, the noise intruding from the outside is attenuated by the second casing 14, and the intrusion of noise from the outside of the second casing 14 is prevented. Accordingly, by means of the first casing 12 and the second casing 14 as an operation stabilizing means, the transmission of noise from the drive motor 25 to the control panels 26a, 26b is sufficiently prevented.
