<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treating device and a water treating method capable of further enhancing water treating deficiency and economical efficiency while securing mechanical strengths and water permeability. <P>SOLUTION: The water treating method includes alternately carrying out inner pressure type filtration by high-speed crossflow in which membrane surface flow speed is 1 m/sec or more and backwash, using the water treating device having a membrane module 1 using a hollow fiber membrane 2 by a single main constituting material having a self-standing structure in which an outer diameter is 3.5 mm to 10 mm and an SDR value being a ratio of the outer diameter to the wall thickness is 5.8 to 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
