<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and the like capable of performing concentration correction of an image to be formed with higher accuracy while being less likely to depend on a difference between image regions. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device has: an image formation unit forming a reference patch for correcting the concentration of a processed image; a concentration detection sensor 27 reading the concentration of the reference patch; a region extraction part 76 extracting a fine line image region and a regular pattern image region from image information of the processed image; a concentration correction coefficient determination part 77 determining a first concentration correction coefficient used for correcting the concentration of a normal image region on the basis of the concentration of an image for concentration correction that is read out, and determining a second concentration correction coefficient used for correcting the concentration of the fine line image region and a third concentration correction coefficient used for correcting the concentration of the regular pattern image region on the basis of the first correction coefficient and a preliminarily-defined linkage coefficient; and a concentration correction part 78 correcting the concentrations of the respective image regions on the basis of the respective concentration correction coefficients. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
