<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device capable of controlling loop amount of a sheet, thereby preventing image shift. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet conveying device includes: a pair of resist rollers 23 for aligning the tip positions in the carrying direction of the sheet S and then conveying the sheet S to an image-transfer part; a pair of loop-forming rollers 22a disposed at the upstream of the pair of resist rollers 23 for forming the loop for the sheet S between them and the pair of resist rollers 23; a sensor 51a that detects the loop of the sheet S between the pair of the resist rollers 23 and the pair of loop-forming rollers 22a; a controlling means 90 for controling the pair of loop-forming rollers 22a based on the result detected by the sensor 51a. The rear end of the sheet S is removed from the pair of loop-forming rollers 22a after image transfer is started by the image transfer part, and the controlling means 90 controls the pair of loop-forming rollers 22a so as to have the loop amount when the sheet S is conveyed and its rear end is removed from the pair of loop-forming rollers 22a become smaller than the loop amount of the sheet S when the tip position of the sheet is aligned by the resist means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
