STATOR FOR AN ELECTRICAL MACHINE

A stator for an electrical machine has a plurality of stator segments which form a stator ring and have support teeth for holding coils to which power can be supplied and also radially outer yoke segments which form the outer face of the stator ring. Each stator segment has three support teeth for holding in each case one coil, wherein all the coils of a stator segment are wound from a common, continuous coil wire.
