<p>An apparatus (1) for processing both sides of a glass sheet (2) accommodates two straight-line feed devices (5A, 5B), upper and lower, facing each other, provided with suction devices (4A, 4B) for maintaining vacuum contact with an inner area on both sides of the glass sheet (2), each of the straight-line feed devices (5A, 5B) causing the suction devices (4A, 4B) to move forward and backward in alternation with the counterpart device in the direction of advance of the glass sheet (2), and causing each suction device (4A, 4B) to move up and down, maintaining vacuum contact on the glass sheet during the forward stroke and feeding the glass sheet in a straight line, and then returning empty after a grinding process is performed on both sides of the glass sheet (2) by a grinding device (30).</p> |
