Provided are a data matching method and device, the method comprising: labeling each micro-blog user based on the characteristic information and the category of each micro-blog user in a first micro-blog user group; obtaining the characteristic information and the category of a second micro-blog user; selecting from the labeled first micro-blog users the micro-blog user matching the obtained characteristic information and category, and recommending same to the second micro-blog user. The present invention selectively recommends message sources of interest to the user.
