The modular rail mounted device (10) has functional connection element which is connected with a conductor (110). A cover (30) of the functional connection element is provided with an opening (32) for conductor. A slider set in open and closed positions is provided for locking the modular rail mounted device with respect to the busbar assemb ly (100) such that the modular rail mounted device is unlocked by the movement of the cover. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) busbar assembly; and (2) method for exchanging functional connection element of modular rail mounted device.
