<p>The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an optical film, said method having a casting step and, at least, a stretching step, a drying step, and a take-up step. In the casting step, dies are used to cast a dope film on a support with no ends using a dope containing an acrylic resin, a cellulose-ester resin, and an additive, thereby forming a cast film; drying air is supplied to the cast film; the cast film is dried until said cast film can be removed from the support with no ends; and the cast film is removed. This manufacturing method is characterized in that the abovementioned additive has an ionic group or a functional group that can bond to hydrogen and the dew point of the abovementioned drying air is made at least 1°C lower than the surface temperature of the cast film.</p> |
