<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mini krypton lamp type LED bulb suitable for a downlight lighting fixture. <P>SOLUTION: The mini krypton lamp type LED bulb 10 is used for the downlight lighting fixture which is embedded in and attached to the ceiling. The mini krypton lamp type LED bulb 10, for instance, includes a polyhedral LED unit 11 in which a plurality of rectangular side face substrates 11B each with an LED 11A mounted are arranged in a polygonal column, and in which a ceiling substrate 11C with an LED 11A mounted is arranged at one of its ends.
