PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize reproduction order of a plurality of images according to characteristics of a subject.

SOLUTION: An electronic camera comprises: an imaging unit which images a subject and generates a plurality of images; an evaluation unit which evaluates the images generated by the imaging unit; a selection unit which selects a part of the images generated by the imaging unit on the basis of the evaluation result by the evaluation unit; a recognition unit which performs scene recognition on the images selected by the selection unit; and a determination unit which determines reproduction order of the images on which scene recognition is performed, on the basis of the recognition result by the recognition unit.
