<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to output image data with correct page order while maintaining the performance of reading operation with small memory capacity. <P>SOLUTION: An image reading device includes: reading means which is able to read the image of a first face of a fed first manuscript and read the image of a first face of a second manuscript, and then read the image of a second face of the first manuscript and read the image of a second face of the second manuscript; and output means which outputs the image of the first face of the first manuscript read by the reading means and stores the image of the second face of the first manuscript read by the reading means in storage means, and after outputting the image of the first face of the second manuscript read by the reading means, outputs the image of the second face of the first manuscript stored in the storage means, and then outputs the image of the second face of the second manuscript read by the reading means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
