<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave shielding housing which is not easily disassembled and shields electromagnetic waves, and to provide a manufacturing method of the electromagnetic wave shielding housing. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave shielding housing 1 includes: a metal cup shaped case 2 having an opening 22; a metal cover 3 covering the opening 22; a snap-fit mechanism 4 which has an engaging protrusion part 40 disposed at one of the case 2 and the cover 3 and an engaged recess part 41 disposed at the other of the case 2 and the cover 3 and fixes the case 2 to the cover 3 by engaging the engaging protrusion part 40 with the engaged recess part 41; and an adhesion part 5 adhering the case 2 to the cover 3.
