<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of a noise. <P>SOLUTION: A capacity detection circuit 10 measures capacities C<SB POS="POST">i,j</SB>of a plurality of sensor electrodes SE<SB POS="POST">i,j</SB>, and generates a first data array ARRAY1 including capacity data D<SB POS="POST">i,j</SB>showing the measured capacities C<SB POS="POST">i,j</SB>. A touch detection part 20 determines at least one sensor electrode SE touched by a user on the basis of data corresponding to the first data array ARRAY1. A first average data calculation part 22 generates first average data AVG1 showing the average of capacity data excluding capacity data corresponding to at least one sensor electrode determined to be touched by the user by the touch detection part 20 among the capacity data included in the first data array ARRAY1.
