Provided is a method for producing a solar cell, the method involving, in the following order, a first step for dispersing impurities of a first conductive type to a region to function as a high-concentration first conductivity-type semiconductor region and a region to function as a low-concentration second conductivity-type semiconductor region, and a second step for dispersing impurities of a second conductivity type to a region to function as a high-concentration second conductivity-type semiconductor region and the region to function as the low-concentration second conductivity-type semiconductor region, wherein, in the low-concentration second conductivity-type semiconductor region, the impurities of a second conductivity type is predominantly dispersed relative to the impurities of a first conductivity type. Also provided is a solar cell produced by means of the aforementioned production method.
