<p>[Problem] To provide a technology for improving frequency characteristics by means of an acoustic method such that sounds can be heard with natural frequency characteristics when a sound-isolating earphone is worn in the human ear. [Solution] This sound-isolating earphone is provided with two or more electroacoustic transducers. Independently generated sound waves are sent through independent sound guide tubes and mixed together before the entrance of the external auditory canal, whereby sound waves having a wavelength two times as long as the difference between the pathways of the two sound guide tubes are attenuated. Sound waves near 6 khz, which are characteristically delivered intensely by the sound-isolating earphone, are suppressed in order to produce an improved sound quality that is pleasing to the ear.</p> |
