<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for vehicles, even when using a combiner of movable structure, capable of suppressing the generation of unwanted ghost caused by an influence of external light. <P>SOLUTION: The display device for vehicles includes a developing/storing mechanism 21 for changing an arrangement state of a combiner 20 between a use-state position capable of displaying in an observation area ER and a non-use state incapable of display. The developing/storing mechanism includes regulation means configured to, at least when the combiner 20 is in the use-state position, regulate an inclination θ1 of the combiner surface with respect to a predetermined direction, to a predetermined angle in a ghost suppressing state. The developing/storing mechanism further includes a removable reflection-suppressing cover configured to cover the back-side surface of the combiner, when changing the angle of the combiner 20 for storing. The combiner and the cover are driven by an independent drive mechanism.
