<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a small-sized drilling device to drill a hole of a diameter larger than an outside dimension of the base, and to easily recover a bit after drilling is ended on a construction site with an extremely limited overhead clearance. <P>SOLUTION: A support stand of an ultra low overhead clearance drilling device includes: a pair of beam members 2, 2 installed roughly in parallel at an interval from each other so as to cross a drilling hole 52; a pair of connection members 3, 3 provided roughly in parallel at an interval from each other so as to connect the beam members 2, 2; and a pair of temporary receiving bars 4, 4 whose one end is freely turnably attached to one connection member 3 and other end is supported by the other connection member 3. The temporary receiving bars 4, 4 are freely movable between an approach position at which they are roughly in parallel to each other and a separated position at which they are spread open roughly in an inverted chevron shape, and are engaged with an outer periphery of a drilling rod 59 to support the bit at the approach position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
