<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a galvanized steel sheet having an antimicrobial property. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the galvanized steel sheet comprises: a step (step A) of subjecting a steel sheet to hot-dip galvanization treatment, thereby manufacturing a galvanized steel sheet having a zinc layer on its surface; and a step (step B) of subjecting the galvanized steel sheet obtained in the step A to hydrothermal treatment in a zinc nitrate aqueous solution so as to partially oxidize the surface of the zinc layer and form a zinc oxide thin film on the surface of the galvanized steel sheet. Here, the zinc nitrate concentration in the zinc nitrate aqueous solution used for the hydrothermal treatment is preferably 0.01-3 M, the hydrothermal treatment temperature is preferably 110-130°C, and a hydrothermal treatment time is preferably 1-3.3 hr. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
