<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound used in an electrolyte of a solar cell, a method for producing the same, and the electrolyte and solar cell including the compound. <P>SOLUTION: The compound is expressed by formula (I), where in formula, A is a 2-3C alkylene group; m is an integer of 2-25; n is an integer of 3-10.
