<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent production of a defective circuit board due to human error, when mounting all components on a circuit board by repeating a process of reloading a circuit board to the same component mounting line several times. <P>SOLUTION: A production management computer 23 managing production of a component mounting line instructs a reader 22 disposed on the circuit board loading side of the component mounting line to read the board ID from the board ID recording part 21 of the circuit board 11 loaded to the component mounting line, and to store the information of completed mounting step of the circuit board 11 exported from the component mounting line in a memory device 24 in association with the board ID of the circuit board 11. During operation of the component mounting line, the information of completed mounting step of the circuit board 11 reloaded is searched from the data stored in the memory device 24, on the basis of board ID read by the reader 22 from the board ID recording part 21 of the circuit board 11 reloaded to the component mounting line.
