<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically detect a wall surface of a feature based on point group data showing the three-dimensional shape of the surface of the feature. <P>SOLUTION: Subspace setting means 20 divides a space to be analyzed by a vertical plane and sets a plurality of columnar sub-spaces. Subspace selection means 22 selects a subspace including a point group having a height difference equal to or more than a preset threshold among sub-spaces as an attention subspace. Block space setting means 24 divides the attention subspace by a horizontal plane to set a plurality of block spaces vertically piled up. Horizontal in-plane search means 26 searches for a line segment where point groups projected on the horizontal plane are collected close thereto beyond a pre-set reference, among line segments in the horizontal plane, for every block space to determine them as a position of a wall surface in the horizontal plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
