<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for stably decreasing the concentration of zinc by a simple process in a short term in a circulating cooling water system where a facility subjected to zinc plating is used, thereby preventing corrosion of the facility. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for decreasing the concentration of zinc in a circulating cooling water system where a facility subjected to zinc plating is used, the water system is maintained to have a pH of 8 or more and 9 or less by using an alkaline agent. In the circulating cooling water system where a facility subjected to zinc plating is used, the concentration of zinc can be decreased by a simple process in a short term, so that corrosion of the facility can be dominantly prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
