A coolant supply device is provided with: a coolant pump (100) having a variable discharge rate and sucking up coolant in a coolant tank (104); branch conduits (120-124) for dividing the stream of the coolant (108), which is discharged from the coolant pump (100), into streams which flow into multiple portions of a machine tool; and a machine control unit (110) for controlling the ON/OFF of on/off valves (136) for the branch conduits (120-124), the machine control unit (110) being configured so that, when a flush coolant command is issued, the machine control unit (110) opens only one of the branch conduits to concentrically supply the coolant (108) from the coolant pump (100) at the maximum discharge rate and close the remaining branch conduits.
