The invention discloses a liquid crystal display panel, comprising N gate lines and a first gate drive circuit, wherein N is an even number greater than 2; and the first gate drive circuit comprises N/2+1 first shift register units connected in series which are used for outputting N gate signals to the N gate lines. According to the invention, the N gate signals can be output to the N gate lines by only needing the N/2+1 shift register units. Therefore, the gate drive circuit is greatly simplified, the resistance-capacitance (RC) distortion of input frequency signals (clock signals) is reduced, an area occupied by the gate drive circuit, on a basal board, is reduced, and the reliability of the gate drive circuit is increased.
