<p>In the present invention, a mobile terminal device is provided with: a touchpad sensor provided to a back surface of a chassis and for detecting a contact position when held by a user; and a holding pattern determining means for determining and outputting a holding pattern to which touchpad sensor detection data detected by the touchpad sensor is most similar, from among a plurality of predetermined holding patterns.
