PURPOSE: A shock absorbing elastic member and an outsole for shoes including the same are provided to improve the feeling of walking and landing on the ground and to enable everyone to comfortably wear the shoes regardless of weight. CONSTITUTION: An outsole for shoes with a built-in shock absorbing elastic member comprises a insertion hole(50a) of a "<" shape which is formed in the boundary surface between the outsole(10) and the mid sole(20) in the heel portion of the sole(50); a reinforced support member and an elastomer(42) having repulsive force against shock and adhered to the inside which are inserted into the insertion hole; and an elastic member(40) made from a reinforcing lead(41) capable of easily expanding and contracting. A centripetal portion having an opening portion of a "C" shape is formed in the inner side of the elastomer. A pair of elastic portions is extended upward and downward at a slant from the opening portion, and an adhesive portion bent at the end of each elastic portion is formed parallel to each other. |
